A City of Palm Bay nature sanctuary with trails, a boardwalk and a nature center. Admission is free. Only service animals are allowed, so pets stay home for this one.

An accredited zoo with more than 900 animals in open-air habitats, keeper chats, feedings and adventure courses. Hours and seasonal events change, so check the zoo's site before you go.

Home to Space Shuttle Atlantis, the U.S. Astronaut Hall of Fame and the Apollo/Saturn V Center, with Behind the Gates bus tours. Launch viewing is sometimes possible.
A Florida state park on the Atlantic with beaches, surfing, fishing from the jetties, kayaking on the lagoon and two small museums. An entry fee applies, and bridge construction may affect access, so check the park page for current notices.
